Spring Beauty Must Haves!

Spring, where you at?! This has been the strangest year for weather in Upstate, NY but it looks like spring might actually be in the forecast!  Regardless of what it looks like outside, I have been adding some new beauty products to my collection and I have been dying to share them with all of you!

SKINCARE

Skincare is the UTMOST important in my book.  Taking care of your skin is the number one rule in your skin being its best, and the products I have been using lately have been AMAZING on my sensitive skin.  It is SO important to remove your make up off and wash your face DAILY.  My mom used to tell me growing up that every night that you don’t take your make up off you will look a day older!  It’s always important to apply a serum and moisturizer as well before going to bed at night. I have been in love the with Bounce Serum by Glossier and the Fresh Lotus Youth Preserve is HEAVEN on your face.  Most moisturizer’s make me break out, and this stuff has dramatically changed my skin in the last few weeks.

It’s also KEY to keep up on facial treatments! I have been going religiously every 8-12 weeks and I have seen such a difference in my skin.  Always remember to avoid the sun and always wear sunscreen.  Whenever I am in the sun, I’m always wearing a big floppy hat or a baseball cap with sunscreen covering my face.  The sun makes you age, and who wants wrinkles at an early age? I have been bouncing back and forth between the products below and the amazing Saranghae Skin Care products. You can check out my review on their products here.

HAIRCARE

The sun is not only damaging to your skin but can also dry out and damage your hair too. I recently cut my hair short(er) and it has been so much easier to deal with.  I wash it about 3 times a week and put dry shampoo in it daily for volume and texture.  I also have been obsessed with my purple shampoo and use it once a week in the shower.  It has made my blonde a more “ashy blonde” and it takes some of the brassiness out of your hair. Make sure you check out my review on the CHI ARC here!

MAKE-UP

In general, I prefer more of a “no-makeup” makeup look, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t like to still get dolled up with fun eye shadows and lip colors once in a while! I really don’t have much time to spend time getting ready on the average day so I need products that are easy to use and blend well (and fast)!

My bestie gifted me the Anastasia Beverly Hills Prism palette for Valentine’s Day and I am in love. The colors are all coordinated and highly pigmented to give you a high color payoff using minimal product. That’s just another reason to love this brand! They also make the best brow products! My one and only mascara that will forever be my favorite is the Clinique High Lengths Mascara.  I have been using this since high school and the applicator looks like a comb.  It’s really strange using it for the first few times but just try it, because I know you will love it as much as I do!

I recently did a collab with My Make up Brush Set where they sent me a bunch of their brushes (oval brush set) to try out which are my new go to make up brushes! They are very affordable and blend your make up so well.  Check them out and enter code “SPRING 15” at checkout and receive 15% off your entire purchase!

The last thing I wanted to share with you all is the glossier products. I recently purchased a few items and they are simply amazing! The balm-dot.com is a staple to have in your make up collection and can be used on your lips, cuticles, and dry areas on your skin.  They have different scents and tints as well.

These products are perfect for spring and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do! Happy Shopping!
